Michele Hoag, DVM
Dr. Hoag is a veterinarian at Plaza del Amo Animal Hospital in Torrance, Calif., and answers Ask a Vet questions for i Love Dogs.
Family: Husband Brian and two identical-twin sons, Matthew and Nicholas. Her dog, Petey, is a Dalmatian mix who was thrown over the fence of her house as a puppy. The latest addition to her family is Ripley, an Australian Shepherd, who is training for both agility and obedience work.
Education: Graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 2000 with a B.S. in Animal Science and a minor in Physiology, and UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005.
